My Site Rankings were Weak Until I Combined SEO and Adwords

There are many aspects to search engine marketing. Two of these are search engine optimisation and good Google Adwords utilization. Good search engine optimisation is vital if you want to get your site ranking well in Google. Primary factors of search engine optimisation include content, keywords and back links.

Content
You will never go wrong by providing good, well-written, informative content that is useful to the reader. The value of good content has increased over the past few years and will continue to increase. The days of being able to just slap up a website and expect Google to send you traffic are thankfully over. The Google experience is more sophisticated and provides more value to the searcher. Good content will keep your site ranking well with Google.

Keywords
Keywords help the Google bots know what your site is about. Generally speaking, as you write about your subject the naturally occurring keyword density will be sufficient. Keyword stuffed text sounds stilted and hard to read and will not contribute to your search engine optimisation.

Back Links
Back links occur naturally over time if you have a good website but you can facilitate the process by creating back links. Link trades, article submissions and blog posts are good avenues to create back links.

Another aspect of search engine marketing is pay per click advertising. Google Adwords are the most used in ppc advertising. The Google Adwords tool will help you target frequently searched keywords that don’t have too much competition. By targeting Adwords and keywords that are relevant to your site but are less competitive you can use the combined strength of Google Adwords and search engine optimisation to improve your search engine marketing.
